The workshop is designed as a building which opens up towards the yard and the farmhouse. The external geometry of the workshop strongly references the old farmhouse but is lower in height, thereby allowing the farmhouse to remain recognised as the lead building of the ensemble. The new building retreats to the background and appears as an open shell with the interior connecting to the yard. The facade and roof of the workshop form a continuous surface...

This first building (the second is to be built later this year) is part of a newly built neighbourhood where we designed a number of individual dwellings earlier. The design for the apartment buildings departs from a reinterpretation of typical commercial warehouses. Fully clad in aluminium, both buildings distinguish themselves by their vivid colour and specific treatment of the facades.

The design of the Embassy of the Czech Republic pays tribute to its unique natural setting, and the building itself is only an adjunct, not the main actor. Its form divides the site into three separate parts. Firstly what emerges is a representational circular driveway space, the austere elegance of which underlines the drapery-like front façade made of frosted glass. The 114 apartments at the Royal Racetrack are part of a larger development of the site surrounding the Racetrack, where Kinepolis and the Wellington golf clubhouse also created a multitude of activities. Thanks to its column structure, the building allows for flexible use in the future.
