This building is very multifunction since this building is created with many purposes. The main purpose of this house is to give living building for the residents. The 1550sm building is the centre piece of Folkes tone’s arts-led regeneration programmed spearheaded by client The Creative Foundation. this building is a new concept from the old one that is developed. It includes a 220 seat, 500 standing multi-purpose auditorium for music, dance, theatre, film performances and conferences; ground floor foyer and exhibition space; first floor cafĂ©/bar and a top floor business center for start-ups in the creative industries. In this house the residents can have many entertainments and easy to find the food and drink. It is also an informal urban ‘shop front’ building that completes the curved Georgian street scape of Tontine Street. This house is built near the main street and near the central city. The fluted mesh cladding was inspired by both the maritime iconography of Folke stone’s historic architecture and the translucent scallop shells that arrive in Folke stone’s harbor every day. The facilities of this house are very complete.
