It can be said that this stadium is the most complete stadium around the world since it has complete facilities inside and outside the building. Tynecastle Stadium has been home to Heart of Midlothian since 1886, 12 years after the club’s inception. The main stand, which currently has as a capacity of 4,500, was designed by world famous architect Archibald Leitch and constructed in 1914. For now, this building is still classic and artistic design that is combined with new tech and modern design. This stadium is one of the most amazing inheritances in the country. Hearts FC unveil plans for £51m redevelopment of Tynecastle Stadium, increasing capacity by nearly 6,000 to 23,000. The application is for a new 10,000-seat Main Stand, plus hotel & leisure facilities due in Oct 2007. This makes the stadium bigger and huger. To make this building complete, it has been built other facilities. The project includes a gym, club shop & restaurant. If planning permission is granted, Hearts will demolish their 4,500-capacity Main Stand – constructed in 1914 – in summer 2008, with the new stand being open by the end of the 2009/2010 season. It will be complete stadium that make the supporters proud.
