Bicycle Parking Design by Nunc Architects

This building is specially created to give parking area for the bicycles. Although it is just for parking area, this building has wonderful view and amazing design. The design of the Fietsenpakhuis is inspired by the archetype of the Zaanse warehouse. From its design this building looks so cultural and interesting. This building is build with wide space and high roof. All the people can use this building and their bikes safely since The Fietsenpakhuis is designed as a public space, inviting all cyclists to enter. In the front side of this house is completed with glass wall and it has steel frames. The ground floor is paved with bricks, visually connecting the outer street with the interior. This building is built in the main street to give good access for the public to use it. The building is using passive solar heating and is naturally ventilated. It can be said that this building uses natural resources that can be renewed. This building can keeps thousands bicycles. With wide door, it will be easy to enter this building for some people.
