An Aalesund Architecture in Norwegia

Winning proposals by Lund and Architects Slaatto for Arena competition in Ulsteinvik Ulstein, Norway. The main idea of this project is to create a sports and activities, where the quality of the surrounding majestic landscape will join bourgeoning Ulsteinvik city urban life.
Their goal is to develop an architecture that will enable this large volume to match the identity Ulsteinvik, without imitating the existing building fabric of small-scale. they were inspired by the rich industrial history for-trade delivery Ulsteinvik to design the building as three volumes of Corten-clad, set into the granite base is difficult. The interior space will be a mild surprise, local timber and wrapped in white concrete.
